Room Makeover??

I want to makeover my room but i don't know what color to choose for my walls. I already have covers that are a light green with some pink very little though and even some brown. I am 14 so i dont want it to be a kids room. Any tips or ideas please. Websistes linked to help could help also . Thanks!

1. Go to the paint store and pick up a bunch of sample chips. Tape or tack them to the wall for a few days. As you walk by, one will consistantly catch your eye. That will be the right color for you. Then do the same with contrasting colors. Have fun with it!

3. Well, I have a room like that!!! You should do green or pink walls with green or pink different-sized polka dots!! That would rock!! And get some cool blue,pink,and green pillows for your bed. And, like a rug, from JCpenny. They have nice ones there!!!

6. oh i have seen this one design where the walls were aquamarine or a lighter version turquose with brown and the four wall's color was alternated. like one wall was aqua and the other was brown. and the main wall was a brilliant design of those colors and it looked so pretty! the bed just matched it up and the floor was carpet but it was gorgeous! i love those colors mixed together.
7. Maybe a pale pink color. Where it isn't to girl and and you change it as you get older. Maybe use some green accents in the room and maybe some brown. When you get tired of that you could do pink and brown as a color scheme. Those are just some ideas.
8. i think a chaocolate brown and a pink rose pink, and polka dots with those colors would be adorable!! you could do alot with those colors

Choose colors that are "you" and that make you most comfertable since you are going to be the one to spend the most time in your room. choose a comfwtor that maches your walls, and is spunky....or whatever is your style. Put up some black and white pictures if you are going for a more mature look. Make it a fun and cool place for you and your friends to hang out! hope I could help!!!

12. ok make a bit of striped pink aand green for a flower look and pink and brown go for a cute thing with NO label, green and brown for an earthy look You could repaint the whole room green (a light shade maybe even lime whatever catches ur eyes) then splat it with pink and brown you could do this with ur fingers and its quite FUN it wont look like a kid room but a room for an outgoing teenager
