I need room ideas and comforter ideas!!?
i am planning on redoing my room from scratch and i have an idea that i want but i cant find a comforter SET any where!?i am planning on doing a pink and black room and i cant find ANY pink and black comforter sets or bed n a bags.and i need ideas or places with verrry cute ones.i am a teen and i want a younger style but not little kid style.help (:

- why dont you make your own comforter with a pink and black sheets as the border - maybe black on the long edges and pink along the top and bottom edges and in the middle fill in with cute logo t shirts that have been cut into rectangles and sewn together with the pink and black as the borders? I think that is a cool idea, i think you could probably use a full size sheet of each color to make the comforter and window treatments. If you don't sew, they sell stuff that adheres fabric when you iron it. - you can use that. the with the rest of the pink and black sheets you can cut them into triangles and sew the long edges together into a pocket for a curtain rod and leave the bottom with the points and you can even attach fringe of dangled of beads from it. you may even be able to make a dresser scarf or for you sight stand with the left over fabric another idea is to buy a pink sheet and tie dye it with black and then buy another sheet and sew them together and put your existing comforter inside the two sheets like a duvet cover
- those were my colors of my room in college. i couldnt find a bed in a bag either. so instead i bought a seperate comforter that was black, it ended up having a kahki color on the other side, but it looked okay. and then i bought seperate hot pink sheets and pillow cases. i found them at target. for accents i had those round lamps that hang from the ceiling, they are made of paper like material. i actually found hot pink ones. i also found some posters of fairies that were hot pink and black. i know fairies arent really in style like they used to be but just giving you some ideas. since i was on a tight budget i then bought wooden picture frames and hotpink and black nail polish at the dollar store and painted the frames in different designs. some were polka dots. some had words on the. just be creative. you could buy some buttons and glue them on there. endless possibilities. then for curtains i bought a see through shimmery black set and then went to the fabric section in walmart and got a really long piece of hot pink tutu material and drapped it over the black curtains.
