  4. Temporary things like posters and lamps can be used to add a theme to a kid's room (preferably something that said kid likes), but avoid using major furniture, carpeting, or paint and murals for a theme unless the kid is still going to like it in 10 years.

  6. it depend ..whether thekid is a boy or a girl..boys mostly like their superheros so the theme of the room can b that..and girlz mostly like their super heroins and fairy talecreatures..
  7. How old are the kids? Paint murals on the walls, if they are into sport, do a mural relating to the sport that they like. Or any of the typical themes that you see all the time -fairies, pirates, wiggles, bananas in pyjamas, etc. Buy some pieces of foam and cover them in nice material, so the kids can play or lay on them, or use them as beds for sleep overs. Buy some ply and make surrounds for their bed, its much cheaper than buying them. I know someone that made these out of cardboard. (She used to go to the department store that sold fridges and get their discarded boxes.) Her children helped to decorate them and they really loved it. It was really surprising how long they lasted too. The glow in the dark stick ons are pretty cool too.
