Kids Room Tips

Babysitting tips?

Hi guys! So I'm gonna baby sit my really cute neighboors this Friday! But i need some tips on how-to-babysit kind of stuff! Like I know how and all that jazz like I've babysat before and I've baby sat these two kids before. So what are some tips to make it fun and make the kids want me to baby sit them again? One is like 2 and the other is 4! The 4 year old is a girl and the 2 year old is the boy. So please help! Oh and once they come home what do i do? Because I'll pobably be in there basement with the kids because there TV room and play-room is down there. So when i hear them get home should I go up stairs? If I do should I bring the kids with me so i don't look like I left them down there alone the whole time? Oh and they'll pay me! So please help! Thanks! PS. if this is the wrong catagorie sorry! I didn't know which one to put it in. thanks!

  1. The best tip I can give you is actually play with the kids. Parents will tell their friends about you if you actually play with the kids. So few people do, sadly. And when they come home, if you do go upstairs to greet them, bring the kids.
  2. Ask the parents what their favorite activities are and then do some with them. Sing silly songs or ones that you can act out like itsy bitsy spider, or hokey pokey. Kids love anything that they can act out like that. I would never leave the kids alone, in fact if you hear the parents come home I would get into a quick game and look so busy having a great time that you "didnt even hear them come in" wink wink...
