teen bedroom makeover?
hey is a daybed a good idea for a kid turning 13? i want it to last till like 18 or something haha! the room is kind of small square shaped with a huge window and average sized closet what kind of bed would you recomend? oh sorry its a tennage girl 12 but turning 13 in feb

- I would recommend a double bed for a teen. Teen girls like to have sleepovers, and teen boys grow so fast that a single might be too small in a year from now.
- I got my daughter a single bed with a bed underneath. Its fab. Both have proper good mattresses and the hidden bed raises to the same height as the single, so it can be two singles or a double. It means she has more room for herself and the ability to have sleepovers.
- I think a twin bed is best for a Teenager up to 18. Sleeping should not be a priority in his/her life. - Thats what I used for my daughter....she used that until she "inherited" my mother-in-laws full size bed
- i had a twin size bed when i was her age and i hated it then i got a full size bed at 17 and i love it i think day bed are little girlish like 3-10 i would say get her a full size bed she will like it more i bet and it will last longer
