Teen room decorating tips. PLEASE HELP?

i am reasking this because i didt get any awnsers the last time i posted this so i am decorating my bedroom really really soon!!!! i am 13 and i want somewhere fun where i can hang out with my friends and be a teen i am getting a really cute black futon for my bed because i dont want a real bed to go along with the hanging out thing i want it to be more like a lounge area. but i am kind of on a budget though. i want somwhere bright and fun with alot of stuff having to do with fafi. is there any way i could get a fafi mural on one of my walls? and other ideas that can help would be apreciated. i can paint mty walls and get all new furniture. i want ideas to go along with the lounge room thing so any extra stuff that most kids wouldnt have but things that would be really cool to have for parties and stuff. links and pics would be apreciated. I WILL CHOOSE BEST AWNSER

Well, if you are more of the preppy style I would go with some nice polka dots on your wall, use the same color for every one and make it like darker than the wall color itself. Uhm, hang alot of posters of your favorite movie stars, singers, actors, actresses, whatever pleases you. Uhhhh, I'm mind blank right now but I think that's some good help :)
Go with bright bubbly colors, like pinks,light blues, purple, lime green. you could even have 2 walls the same color and the other 2 different colors. hope i help you out some! and don't forget flowers bring life to the room too!!!!!
lights are always cool like christmas lights those are awesome nd maybe instead of the normal incadesent lights u could have some that r different colors things like lava lamps neon signs those senery lights r cool 2 disco balls but yea nd fuzzy pillows ne of thigns things are AWESOME or for a more personal touch hang up some or ur own art work around ur room or ur friends art work i've got a really trippy painting of i-pods but personal stuff is always cool
I think it would be cool to get a coffee table or desk, tape photos/magazine pictures/articles etc. and then paint a clear coating on it...that would be a personal touch. Also, when I was young (not sure how the folks would like this!) but I used to have everyone sign my waterbed...I had a friend who had her friends put their hand print with paint on the wall in different colors...
hmmm well i dont know what fafi means...i dont think you mean afi... well i'm 17 and i think ANY color that's super bright is awsome for a room! pick your favorite! then you should just deck it out in posters...or maybe magazine pages out of teen vogue or magazines you like... it loooks really cool if you cover a whole wall if you want something more spiffy go to pbteen. everything they have is adorable and the have cute room set-ups aswell for ideas!
I have no idea what "fafi" is so sorry about that but I painted one of my daughter's walls (yeah the whole thing) with chalkboard paint. She thinks it's fun and her friends and even big sis who is 19 has fun drawing on it and leaving messages. Then we took different sizes of bowls from the kitchen to use as templates and made big circles (polka dots) and painted them all different colors. It's alot of fun and I've never seen anyone else with it. Hope this helps! have fun!
I just recently redecorated mi room walls and all... if you want it to be bright choose bright colors and use them on your walls..maybe do that whole splatter design....well of course you want a tv....and a stereo...can't have a party without music!....im not exactly sure what you mean by fafi..but i can try my best to give you ideas...you don't just want a futon to sit around on ..get more comfy crazy chairs ....=) ......if you love pictures....you need some hangin throughout your room on your walls...hopefully this helps! Well for the wall, do white with polka dots, preferably black, but it can be any color you want. I would get like a bean bag because they are modern and comfortable. Just be creative and make sure you show that the room belongs to you, personalize it.
do stripes. a LOT! that way, you have more than one color to match your furniture. For example, if you get white and sky blue stripes for your walls, you can get white and sky blue furniture and bed sheets.
If you want a "lounge" feel, you might want to invest in some bean bag chairs. This will give all your friends a place to sit, and they are usually pretty inexpensive. go through magazines like seventeen, cosmogirl etc. cut out ur fave model pics or articles. then frame them with either real frames or cut out pieces of construction paper. you could add ur own touch by getting a solid color curtain possibly from ikea and get some pretty decprations and hot glue them on in a cool funky pattern. find some really colorful pillows and use the colors on them to find the right paint color. it will look amazing with the black fouton. try bombay kids

i am also 13 and i had the same problem, i wanted a hang out...keep the futon idea its cute...get some cute fuffie chairs or bean bags and put them in a corner but dont over cramp the corner...get like circle lantern lamps (pbteen.com) and hang them in diff places at diff lengths... to make more room for friends use bins under your bed and on top of wood furniture...use wall pops from lowes for a spot of color and get pillows and blankets to match the colors...have alot of stuffed animals? use a hammick or net to put in a corner above the grond and put them in there...get shelves that are thin andd you can bolt them to the wall above the ground...get art and posters for your room and cool lamps get bulliton boards and frames for your wall..use unused plain white christmas light netting and put it on the wall of focus and mix them up with curtains or beads or leave it plain....have plain lamps ...paint them, add rhinestones, or ribbon to them to jazz it up...go to a local craft store and get plain bulliton board or wood boarding or thin foam pieces (usually cheap) and cover it with colorful fabric and pin it to your walls..if you have wood flooring gut a soft colorful rug..get long curtains that got to the floor and are kind of see through and light (pbteen) and put your blinds all the way up so your room is bright and for painting your room have a light base color so the wall pops really pop...hope you have fun decorating
