How should I design my room?
Im 15 years old, and i really need a new design for my room. It looks like a little kids room and i need a change. I dont like bright colours, and im more into neutrals. Uhmm i am also into music , and i want to show that through my room, but i dont know how. I dont want it to look like a little girls room any more.. and i kinda want an edge to it. any ideas ? :)

- go to a store called ikea i know they have on in chicago and minniapolis pick out all the stuf you want and then decide the colors you want
- Hmm. Definately keep yours walls and cieling cream/white because then you can change your bedsheet colour without worrying that it wont go with your walls. Then if you like music why not have some records on the wall. If your rooms big enough get a low simple double bed because then you get the sleep space of a double bed but because its low it looks as if your room hasnt lost any space. Have a cool rug and a nice CD player. Try to keep to colour schemes because otherwise your room will loose its touch. NEVER write on your walls/door and neither should you stick photos on the wall!! It looks tacky from a guests point of view and also takes away the WOW from your room :)
- hmm. i like music too so this is what yo can do.!!! if you like neutral color what you can do is paint your room a creamy or and tanner color to make the room nice and warm. Then if you want you can get a soft gold color and sponge the walls over the tan. not too much but just enough to see a little tan or cream underneath!(this could be kinda jazzy!) Then you could get pictures of treble clefs or a Tuscan style painting of a piano. For a comforter you could get a light brown or tan or even gold to match the walls. If you can if you want you can get or find sheets with music notes on it. If you want to put cds some where you could get a black metal case for it. For lights you could get a gold or cream lights on a string and hang them on the walls. For curtains or drapes you could get tan or gold for it. If you have the money you could get heavy drapes to put there too. i have much more ideas but i dont have time right now so if yoy want you can email me and ask.
