Costume for 15yr old for halloween concert?
For strings (Orchestra...you know, with the violins and cellos and etc) we have a Halloween concert coming up. We have to dress up in costumes that is appropriate & won't interfere with our or others' playing. We're also doing a haunted strings room thing for the little kids that will come and I'm part of it and I definitely must dress up for it. I was thinking of wearing something dark and gothic style. I'd love to wear a Gothic Lolita style dress but I can't buy anything too expensive nor can I find anything that I want. So I was thinking of being like a [bride] zombie lady or a fallen angel. But the problem is that my mom will be like "No way. You're not wearing that. You have to wear something cheery." So, any suggestions as to what I can wear that will reflect a dark, gothic, fallen angel style but something my mom will still approve of that I can get most;y from home? I can buy like wings or something (I hope) but only accessories like that.

- You could go as the rosin-eating zombie from outer space!!!! :) I guess that's only funny if you've played the orchestra piece, Rosin-Eating Zombies from Outer Space... :) You should ask your orchestra director if you can play it if you haven't already... You could go as a violin with all the strings broken and stuff... or the cello player that forgot her rock-stop for the concert.... now THAT is scary! Ha.... okay. Sorry. Have fun.
