Decorating Kids rooms on a limited budget.? I am decorating 2 rooms. One is for a 7 year old girl and one for an 11 year old boy. The girl likes Bratz, Hanna Montana, Barbie, and Disney princess'es. The boy likes wrestling. I have a very limited budget and there rooms are VERY large at 17' by 17'. I have furniture for both rooms and some accessories. My biggest problem is what to put on the walls. They have a lot of wall space and no picture seems big enough. I was thinking of doing a mural on one of her walls, but what about him? He is very picky. We are doing this as a suprise so we can't ask them. We are doing it that way becuase we think it will end up being cheaper. Please any tips on decorating cheap will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time! Thank you I have already been to the opps paint a hundred times. What would you want at a store grand opening? Help me make the opening of my boutique great!? I'll be opening my boutique "Crush" in South Texas. I buy, sell and trade clothing. (I also buy from places that sell to WetSeal.com / Gojane.com) I sell both name brand and non-name brand clothing and DIY/vintage items. I also sell shoes, handbags, accessories, makeup, unique home decor, art and more. I have made the entrance a lounge. This room contains the check out/front desk and makeup display. It also has a couch, coffee table, TV, magazine rack and free coffee/cookies. I will have coloring books for kids. The next room has all the clothing and accessories sorted into different sizes/styles.Connected to this room are dressing rooms. I have made the entire store have a comfortable, artsy and non-cluttered feel to it. The pricing is low, an Abercrombie shirt might cost you around 9/10 bucks. I've collected a great deal of good ideas for my store and now I'm asking for something else. I need some REALLY great ideas for the grand opening! What can I do to make the day amazing?
what color of paint should I choose? We just knocked the wall out between our living room and dining room for more space because our house is kinda small. We have medium pine wood floors and our sectional is a stone khaki color and our TV cabinet is black. What color should we paint our walls in the whole area? Keep in mind it is about 400 sq feet. I thought about camel tan with barn red accessories. What do you think- I'm gonna start painting Friday while my kids are in school.
what are some creative business ideas for stay at home moms? I am very creative and am right now stuck in an unfulfilling yet cushy government job. I have two kids and desperately want to be home with them. I am very crafty, I sew clothing for my self, kids and friends. I sewed all of my own maternity wear because I refused to wear what was being offered. I also sew drapery, bedding and baby accessories. I also do some paintings for my childrens rooms that I've gotten some interest in. My name gets around town and I get work here and there but I fear giving up my cushy job since I'm not sure exactly what direction to go in. I need ideas for what to do with my talents or if it is even worth it.
Gift ideas needed for my daughters 4th birthday? My daughters 4th birthday is in a month and I'm lost on what to get her. Due to toys being passed down from my niece, and her being an only child she has just about everything imaginable. We dont want anymore barbie or doll stuff. We live in an apartment so big outside toys are not a possibility. Also her rooms filled to the max when talking about space so smaller items would be great. Oh, we do plan on getting her a bike and bike accessories and she just got a kitten so those ideas are out. Shes having a strawberry shortcake themes birthday party so anything related to that would also be great. As you can see, were stuck and have no clue what to get her any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh and our family is not the type to give gifts int he way of money or adding to savings accounts for kids. If they were that would be great but it just doesnt work that way.
Teenage bathroom ideas? My family and I are moving into a larger house which has two bathrooms between the three kids. My teenage daughter is getting the room with the onsuit bathroom, so I would just like some tips on how to decorate it with some fashionable accessories such as bath mats, toothbrush holders etc. Also I would like ideas on good colours to use. The bathroom is mostly white and cream (walls and tiles I mean). Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Room decorating.? I am trying to decorate my room nicely, but I can't do too much with it. It's pretty big, about 12x14ft. I have white and tan tiles and very light green walls. I'd say mint green. I have a futon bed with pink bedding and lots of pillows. I have 2 pink chairs. One is fold up, and the other is like a little kid chair kind of. I have a light colored wood dresser with 4 drawers. I have a big cabinet that has 3 shelves and 2 drawers. I have a shelf set and it's white and it has 3 shelves too. I have a little nightstand and it's wicker. I have a box and it's got cats on it and it's kinda big. I have a computer desk that I don't use for a computer since I have a laptop. I have lots of stuff. I have a walk in closet, it's kind of small, but it works. It has a white box in it that takes up alot of space, but I can't take it out. I have alot of clothes in there and quite a bit of stuff. Any ideas how to make it look nice without making huge changes? Like, just changing accessories or something?

What would be the minimum basic requirement for a car other than 4 wheels..? I have tried to make a list, I wonder if you can add to it or leave a comment? 1. Safety - Belts, Air bags, Side Impact beam. 2. Air-conditioning & Heater. 2. FM/CD/Mp3 Player. 3. Good Leg room. (dont want to be cramped). 4. Satellite Navigation System. (especially when ur in unfamiliar area). 5. Back Parking Sensor (U dont want to back up onto a kid hiding behind your car). 6. Spoilers - Dont want other car doors to take the carpaint away. I would say these are an absolute must and should in no way be considered accessories. I wonder what were the reason for the foll: 1. Moon / Sun Roof - To see the NorthStar? or to talk to God? 2. DVD-with LCD screen Player - What do you watch in a car with all the head-movement for god sake? the News? - I thought thats what the radio was for. I can understanding watching a movie if the Journey was around 3 hrs. or more But if it was so long I would prefer a short nap. 3. Fog Lights - If u drive in thick fog then ur risking ur life.
how can I keep my kids safe on the PS3 Internet? I have 2 young teenagers in the house. With all of the stories about pedophiles etc.. I keep a close eye on their internet activity. When my 13 year old girl discovered chat rooms and MSN I even went as far as installing a keylogger (I don't snoop or use the contents against them- I just make sure there is nothing potentially dangerous). My question is this; how can I keep a better eye on the PS3 internet connection? My 16 year old just bought a new accessory to make web surfing on the PS3 easier which made me realize I have no idea how to monitor it! Does anyone know how to view internet activity on the PS3 other than just checking the history?
Paint Color help!? I have a bedroom in our remodeled basement. When we remodeled it, the windows were covered, so there is no natural light. There is paneling around the bottom, about 3 feet high, with thin molding around the top. Right now, the paneling is lime green, the molding is purple, and the wall above is white. I had a colorful room as a kid.... Now I have a Black and white comforter and black and silver accessories/furniture. I was wondering if anyone (maybe professionals out there?) would have any ideas what colors would work for the bedroom. I'm not married to the comforter, and am not opposed to changing it. I guess I could have summed up the question by asking... What colors work for a room with zero natural light? And what colors definitely don't? Thanks!
Costume for 15yr old for halloween concert? For strings (Orchestra...you know, with the violins and cellos and etc) we have a Halloween concert coming up. We have to dress up in costumes that is appropriate & won't interfere with our or others' playing. We're also doing a haunted strings room thing for the little kids that will come and I'm part of it and I definitely must dress up for it. I was thinking of wearing something dark and gothic style. I'd love to wear a Gothic Lolita style dress but I can't buy anything too expensive nor can I find anything that I want. So I was thinking of being like a [bride] zombie lady or a fallen angel. But the problem is that my mom will be like "No way. You're not wearing that. You have to wear something cheery." So, any suggestions as to what I can wear that will reflect a dark, gothic, fallen angel style but something my mom will still approve of that I can get most;y from home? I can buy like wings or something (I hope) but only accessories like that.

What should I name my punk clothing line?!? I make: hair bows, tote purses, & shirts for girls. I also plan on selling jewelery & accessories... It's not exactly a clothing line yet... I'm just kinda making my own little business by making these things myself & selling them, mostly to the kids at my school. =] I do plan on making this business bigger! But I don't know what to name it, really... something awesome-sounding that just rolls off the tongue & is unique & not cliche. I could only come up with "Xenotype". xeno = foreign, stranger. What do you think? Please give me all the advice & suggestions on NAMES you can please!!! By the way, this not some other glam scene clothing line. It's actually more punk // metal with it's own room for self-expression, since it's all about custom designs =]
